CURAÇAO 2002
At about 40 miles in length and roughly 10 miles wide, Curaçao is the largest island in the Netherlands Antilles, which also include the islands of Aruba and Bonaire. Located just off the north coast of Venezuela, Curaçao is a dry island, and vegetation is sparse. The best dive sites are on the west side, and many are accessible from shore. Curaçao is renowned for its coral reefs.
